1988. Unable to cook, I began to snack and browse, all day long on a bit of this and that. Buying a huge snack tray from a buffet, once a day, to carry to my little apartment, loaded with what momma said was the best of this world. Never eating more than my body could DEFEND me from. Browsing (when not asleep).
After not being sick for a few years, I wondered why. The official recommendations of the ''professionals'', was not helping any doctors stay healthy, strong and slim, so, I looked past the recent fads and ads at the bigger picture.
The Big Bang.
The growing complexity of the universe. From gas, to liquid, to solid. From hydrogen to stars, to helium, copper, iron, carbon. From lightning to water, from algae to grass, to trees, to forests. From fish to lizards to mammals to man. Two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and a tiny mouth. Hands, feet, liver, bladder, pancreas, teeth... Yes, my pets, fish and frogs are like me.
We are constructed from the material of this evolving earth. We become immune to everything that is not US... IF we are exposed to it. We use ALL the material from the earth to build, power, repair and defend ourselves. ( not just starch, sugar and vitamin pills )
The material that created us is the material we need to build, repair, protect and sustain us... but not more of a thing than a body can safely process. This Earth is our source of growth, immunity and health in its Natural State. The Truth that created us is the Truth that we need to sustain us.

new type of doctor
By AnnieThe only information that I have is from some former classmates of mine in my Masters Program. They had children with disabilities and was referred to these medical doctors. A couple of my classmates live in AZ. I shared as much as I knew about them. I have a call into my own doctor, who teaches at the medical school up at the University of Utah. I will post anything that I learn from her. I do know that she takes care of Kim Peck (Rain Man). I have met him several times in her office. I will keep you posted.
New Breed of Doctor
By AnnieI was talking with a fellow educator the other day. She was telling me that there is a new brand of medical doctors that are coming out of medical school. These doctors have gone beyond their four years of medical training. They have studied people that have disabilities. They are very aware of how to treat people with disabilities and help them get the necessary information that their parents may need. These doctors are called Developmental Doctors. I have heard that you can find them at teaching medical schools. The hope is that people that have disabilities will be able to find the medical care they deserve without having to go through many hoops to find a doctor that will take them.

By drz...on doctors that specialize in persons with disabilities? I googled it and did not find anything. There was a Ph.D. in disability studied, but nothing on medical doctors. Do you have any more information?
