As I am listening to your radio interview...
It was very good, your reaction, when she brought up her son with Down's Syndrome. She was really looking for help from you, not only with her son, but also herself. I really do think you have a very nice steady voice when she asked you what you can suggest to help her son read. It really did remind me of the time when a parent approached me with working with her daugher with Autism. Her daughter was incredible at math, but struggled greatly in reading and I used a strategy with words and imagry. Great to tell her at the end that reading does not have to be done "out loud". Great interview Dr. Z.
